Our Story
The Chapmans are an international touring bluegrass family band recording for Compass Records who have performed in every contiguous US state as well as 9 countries over the last 26 years. Highlights have included performances on The Grand Ol’ Opry, The Ryman Auditorium, Vienna, Austria, a Top 5 position on the Billboard Bluegrass Album charts, and the #1 played CD on Sirius XM Bluegrass Junction. Over all this time we have developed expertise in the acoustic music scene, and now look to share what we’ve been able to experience with anyone looking to start their acoustic music journey, or those wanting to take it to the next level.Our mission is to use our experience to select the finest brands to fit your needs, educate you on what to look for (we love talking about this stuff, ask away), teach through private lessons, and to focus on the acoustic music scene in general rather than try to compete with the big box guys who often overlook these awesome instruments and accessories.
