This guitar was built with tonewoods hand-selected by owner John Chapman, Double Scalloped "Banjo Killer' Aged Tone Torrefied Bracing and a cut-through saddle bridge.

The Championship Dreadnought was designed to combine that sought-after vintage "pre-war" guitar aesthetic with modern innovations to create an unparalleled level of playability. We worked exclusively with Dana to build this one-of-a-kind, custom dreadnought that’s sure to be a show stopper.

This custom guitar features the visual delight of an eye-catching Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce top combined with beautiful sinker Mahogany back and sides. This guitar creates a deep and complex sound that speaks at all tonal ranges. The combination of high quality materials and exclusive upgrades in this dreadnought makes this the ideal guitar for the player seeking a special and unique instrument. 

Why wait for vintage tone? Each model in the Aged Tone series includes Bourgeois's Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce top, Aged Tone Adirondack Spruce bracing, animal protein glue construction, and proprietary Aged Tone finish to deliver a "broken-in" vintage tone out of the box.
