This copy of the 1730 Kreisler Guarneri violin was hand built in Scott Cao’s workshop in Guangzhau, China, then brought to the United States where it was varnished and professionally setup by a team of instrument makers under the direct supervision of Scott Cao himself. The pictures only begin to show the artistry that went into the skilled craftmanship of the beautiful oil varnish of the violin that follows the traditional methods perfected by the Italian master makers of centuries past. The 950 Scott Cao violin series features specifically chosen Bosnian Maple and Italian spruce woods along with an Indian ebony fingerboard and Hill style boxwood fittings. This violin comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the member of Scott Cao's team who crafted it.
