The HiFi Duet pickup system features lightweight, non-intrusive bridge plate sensors that provide excellent tone, balance, and dynamics while preserving the natural acoustic sound of the guitar. Installation is simple with a peel-and-stick method that maintains the integrity of the instrument's bridge plate. The system is complemented by the Silo Mic, which uses TRU•MIC technology, a new microphone capsule, and a tuned suspension for a studio-quality sound with enhanced ambience, dimension, and feedback resistance. The preamp includes a multi-pole crossover system that blends the HiFi pickups and Silo Mic for a versatile range of sounds, from punchy and direct to open and airy. The controls, mounted in the soundhole, allow for easy adjustment of volume, mix, and mic level, with a battery life of over 180 hours powered by a single 9V battery. An installation jig is included for optimal placement.
