Description
The Eastman AC222CE-DLX-GB takes the AC222 Grand Auditorium and dresses it in a striking goldburst finish without changing what makes it work.
Solid Sitka spruce over solid ovangkol back and sides gives clarity up top with a midrange similar to mahogany, but with a touch more punch, a pairing that holds up well under a pick or fingers. The Fishman Presys VT pickup keeps that character intact when plugged in.
Tortoise binding, a classic rosette, and pearl dot inlays round out the appointments. It's a guitar built for the player who wants a cutaway stage instrument that also looks the part.
