Description
The Eastman PCH2-D-CLA is a dreadnought with a solid thermo-cured Sitka spruce top and laminated rosewood back and sides, finished in Eastman's Classic color. The body is 16 inches across and the scale length is 25.4 inches.
The neck is okoume with a Traditional Even C profile, a 12 inch radius rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets and a 1 3/4 inch bone nut. That nut width leaves the fretting hand room between strings for fingerpicking. Eastman thermo-cures the spruce top, a heat treatment that gives the wood a broken-in character. It comes with D'Addario XS coated strings and a padded Eastman gig bag.
It suits a player who wants a solid-top dreadnought with a gig bag and coated strings in the box. There is no pickup in this model, so anyone who needs to plug in should look at the PCH1-GACE-CLA instead.
Serial #9396 — this listing is for the exact instrument shown in the photos above.
